Re: separate video and sound sources, frame sequences
Well, at the moment there is no sequence-decoder in FFAStrans but again you may try the "Custom FFmpeg"-encoder, using the source-variables in this example: -i "%original_path%\%original_name%-%5d.png" -i "%original_path%\%original_name%-pngaudio.aiff" -map 1:0.0:0 -map...

Re: separate video and sound sources
Well, at the moment FFAStrans only support one file per input monitor but using the "Custom FFmpeg" you could potentially pick up multiple input files based on the initial source name. Example: If you are monitoring a folder with separate audio and video with shared naming convention, you ...

Re: Custom commands - No console window
Hi Stef and thank you for using FFAStrans! It's a stupid bug ! Thanks for notifying :D! It will off course be fixed on the next release. You should however make sure you wrap your paths with quotes (") , like this: "\\path\to\bmx\bmxtranswrap.exe" -o "%original_path%/Rewrap...

Re: additional Encoder formats
Hi screenshaper,
I will look into your request. Do you have scenario involving DNxHD and/or ProRes which can not be solved by a one line "Custom FFmpeg"-encoder?

Re: Wishlist
Hi mihai, Your first request is a no-brainer. It ought to be added long ago. Consider it done! Also, I would like to expand a bit on your second request. Having a separate variable for parent folder seems a bit ad hoc. Instead, I would like to make all parent folders available to the user, li...

Re: Multiple outputs
Hi mihai and thank you for using FFAStrans! In your case I would use the "Custom FFmpeg"-encoder. It will allways default to one input and one output but nothing prohibits you from using any ffmpeg options. If multiple outputs is what you want, I think it's doable. Please consult the FFmpe...

Re: AVI DV presets
Hi mike and thank you for using FFAStrans! If you're using the "A/V Decoder" FFAStrans will sometimes make an intermediate file. The reason for this is because FFAStrans will analyse the media and conform it to a set of files readable by the FfmpegSource AviSynth plugin. So yes, sometimes ...

Re: How to upgrade
Just copy and replace your old files with new files. No user generated data will be overwritten.
You might want to backup your current FFAStrans folder before updating.

Hi ASI and bsti!
I see now that it's actually a bug
Thanks for notifying! It will off course be fixed in the next release due in a couple of days.
