Re: Webinterface "Resubmit from start" on log
It's not a bug, it's a feature ;) No really, it is. Because: FFAStrans won't know the difference between changing only some part of the workflow and fundamentally changing it. Imagine if you actually removed the node where the error occured, or remove the starting node for the job. FFAStrans would j...

Re: Getting a folder name Root + 1 folder
Hi kimble, Starting from 1.3 FFAStrans supports the notation %s_recursed_path~-n% for getting the recursed path from the right side. So if %s_original_path% = \\server\share\media\card1\clips\MXF and you're monitoring \\server\share %s_recursed_path~-2% = card1 Hope this helps. -steinar EDIT: It's ...

Re: %s_wf_folder% and %s_wf_name% don't seem to work
Hi Neil, Variables are not supported in monitors as they are populated when a job exists. Only statics are supported. However, some variables are pretty static, like the ones you're trying to use. However, these fall between the cracks but is something we should take a close look at. Thanks for repo...

Re: Problem with DJI files, 50fps and tc issues.
Hi Conniver, It seems the problem lies in the fact that the timecode track is 25 fps while the video is 50 fps. I have not tried it with DaVinci but in Premiere (using the clip you shared) the frames are doubled from 09 to 18, thus instead of 0:38:50:09 it reads 00:38:50:18. And if I manually use th...

Re: Folder name length limit?
Hi silicontrip, FFAStrans have no inbuilt limits regarding file names. In fact, it should work with paths up to 32768 characters long. At least the old (back in the days) limit of 256 characters should definately not be a problem. What kind of storage are holding your files that should be picket up?...

Re: March of the millions
Hi Taner,
I found the cause of the slow loading workflow. It's related to detecting loops in the workflow and it looks like yours hit some bad code logic. Investigating and thanks for reporting!

Re: SSHFS mount on Wnidows - access is denied
HI veks, If you're running ffastrans as service make sure the service user has access to the location. Cause " error code 5, access denied " is what it is...it's windows telling you the user don't have access. This is a Windows message forwarded by FFAStrans. Any remote location mapped to ...

Re: March of the millions
Hi Taner, I'm really happy that you are anticipating the arrival of 1.4. It is a pretty huge upgrade in many ways. Huge upgrades take longer time, at least when there are several important part of the core that has been modified. However, I would like to shed some more light about another reason for...
