Adding Intro/Outro with Insert Media filter is not working...

Post by BushBandit »

Hi,

Someone told me about FFAStrans yesterday, and I've really enjoyed the visual style of task management. For what I need, it seems like it could be the perfect tool.

I'm using FFAStrans for two purposes only: 1.) To batch add a watermark to videos. and 2.) Batch add intro/outro clip to the beginning and end of each video, respectively.

Step 1 was a huge success!

^ Successful watermarking workflow.

The above workflow successfully watermarks my videos, everything went as expected!

Step 2 is where things aren't going as planned...

Step_2_Failure.PNG

^ Unsuccessful 'Insert Media' workflow.

The intro video is .AVI

I have tried:
- Changing the file type of the source file to AVI.
- Converting the source BEFORE the 'Insert Media', then converting it again.
- Bypassing the 'Watermark' to see if that was an issue.
- Tinkering with the H.264 settings (node 5)

No matter what I do, the file enters the status monitor and does its thing, at least up to a point, and then nothing. I get no output video file.

Is this a glitch, or am I doing something fundamentally wrong here?

I attempted to decipher the json files, but I saw an "Unknown Error" I believe at the h.264 node, and that's as far as I got.

Please help me.

Thank you very much!

Hi BushBandit, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

Please make sure you have the same channel count on your intro as the decoded clip in the "A/V Media" step. You have used the default 32 channels. Try setting it to for example 2 and make sure you have two channels (stereo) on your intro.
