Re: wrong framerate interpretation

Hi bartcuijpers,

I think you need to submit your workflow. In my tests FFAStrans seem to find the correct fps of 50.

Re: XDCAM SHD

FranceBB,

It might be as trivial as to just pump up all the video bit rate values to accommodate to the (non existing) 85 Mbit/s variant but I'm a bit hesitant to create support for something based on guesses. That's why it's important to get some documentation.

Re: SubClip No Transcode

Hi Manjik, By nature the "A/V Media"-decoder....well, it decodes. SO, it will ALWAYS give you uncompressed av-stream in return. Thus any lossy compression encoders will reencode the video. There is no way around it when going through the decoder. Currently, none of the encoders support in/out-points...

Re: Two mono audio streams to one stereo audio stream

Hi Paul, thank you for using FFAStans and welcome to the forum! :-)

So you have populated a variable prior to the custom ffmpeg node but the node won't take the variable? Maybe you can post your workflow?

Re: av-integrity workflow

Hi taner,

You can use the function $read("\\path\to\file.txt") and check if it equals nothing (an empty) string or not.

Re: AntiVirus Detection

Hi jordanh, thank you for using FFAStrans and those kind words, and welcome to the forum! :-) False positives is a constant struggle. I have sent samples to numerous AV-vendors but the false positives keeps coming back. So it's a tiring situation. However, the next version will ship with 64 bit buil...

Re: 2 mono channels to 1 stereo channel

Ok, so the problem here is the mixing. Currently, FFAStrans does not have any inbuilt mixing capability so for now you will need to sort that out with a custom avisynth script or custom ffmpeg node. If you have tried any of those please share what you have tried. Also, please update your FFAStrans. ...

Re: Workflow Examples and Repository

Ok, just wondering because you have not explicitly denied mp4 files as input. Otherwise it looks ok :-) You can look at xml-exported workflows as backups. EVERYTHING should be preserved, at least in theory. I HAVE found some bugs regarding exported workflows which has been fixed in the upcoming 0.9....

Re: Workflow Examples and Repository

Hi Cx_, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing your workflow! :-)

Just a question: Your first "Move source" node will fail if the input is a .mp4 file. Is this intentional?
