Re: In and Out Points using the API

Harry deserves all the creds he can get! I'm very busy these days rewriting major parts of FFAStrans and the way he's helping out on this project and the forum is very valuable to all :-) I don't personally know him but I bet he's a nice guy as well ;-)

Re: MP4 to MOV ProRes

Hi zkazzay, When using video on the "Insert media" and/or "Video overlay", the AviSynth function AviSource is used to read the media files. If you use a codec in an Avi-file that is not supported by AviSynth, it will fail. And this is probably the reason for the errors. Further more, the "ProRes AW/...

Re: COMMAND LINE

Hi backlight

You must remember to always quote-wrap your complete command started using comspec:

%comspec% /c ""C:\Programmi\Fraun....... -audiofourcc lpcm"

Try this and tell me how it works out.

Re: BURN IN SUBS

Backlight, would it not be easier if you exported and shared your workflow? I can't see that you have done that.

Re: Workflow development: comments

Hi Harry:-) What would be the differenve between the current "description"-options in the nodes and the workflow, and the comments? Saving comments for templates would be a good idea:-) And the last request...well, I'm not sure about that one. It seems to be "a lot" but maybe you could give some "vi...

Re: In and Out Points using the API

Hi janderson, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

I have plans to implement in/out-points for the encoder nodes in the next major release. These will be variable enabled so they will be easy to use in the API.

Harry, you're the best! :-)

Re: watch waiting files

Hi nizi, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-) nizi and Panda, currently FFAStans is undergoing a major refactoring and a lot of things will change. With that a lot of thing will be much easier to implement so you will have to stay tuned for a while;-) No new features will be a...

Re: BURN IN SUBS

Currently FFAStrans has no way of forwarding custom ffmpeg filter options to the inbuilt predefined encoders but I'm looking at a way to implement it. The problem is that the filter part in ffmpeg is used extensively to do color, framerate, interlacing, aspect and geometric conversions. So adding a ...
