Re: Watch folder did not pick up jobs

I suspect DsmithTopGun might be referring to maintaining the structure from a recursed monitor. Is that correct DsmithTopGun? In that case, you need to add %s_recursed_path% to your delivery node, f.ex. X:\My\Output\Folder%s_recursed_path% . So when you monitor say \\server\share\video and FFAStrans...

Re: Put together?

-i "Full\Path\To\audio.wav" -map 0:v -map 1:a -c copy

Don't insert the file that has been picked up by FFAStrans, only the file you want to add.

Re: Put together?

Looking at these file names, there is no naming convention and thus it's very difficult to predict what the video and the adherent audio files are called. This spells trouble, or at least it's very difficult du automate. Unless there is some other metadata in a f.ex. a sidecar file like xml, and wit...

Re: Watch folder did not pick up jobs

Hi DsmithTopGun, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-) Can you please make sure the def_runner, processors and exe_manager files are in the Processors folder? If not, they might have been mistaken for a virus, which is a false positive. Also, make sure you have turned on "Local...

Re: Allow FFAStrans to start jobs even if system load is 100%

Hi guys, setting priority within FFAStrans wont do when system load is > 85%. I have a few options in mind that will help the situation, but it wont be available until 0.9.4. I'm still finishing 0.9.3 which has taken a bit longer than expected. So stay tuned and thanks for the feedback :-)

Re: Put together?

Ok, can you give some real life examples of typical video and audio file name that needs to be merged? Will you be able to perdict one name by looking at the other, or vice versa?

Re: Put together?

Well, I'm sure you can do that with FFAStrans but you need a way to tell it what two files need to be coupled. Please consider the scenario where you put f.ex. 4 files, two video and two audio, all with random names into the drop folder. How would FFAStrans know what files to merge, and more importa...

Re: Put together?

Sorry for the late reply, I'm on a vacation theese days :-) But yes, you can use variables on all input fields that have the "<" sign next to it. That also goes for the command executor, which of course you can use to perform virtually any task you want. Also, you should use the %s_source% variable ...

Re: Using shortcuts (lnk) in the watch folder

Hi Taner, it works but some assumptions are made that make it NOT work under some circumstances. It should be better in the next release. Thanks for notifying! :-)

Re: Mapping audio channels when using Full Decoding

Hi FranceBB, You need to store the %i_a_channels% value in a user variable before it's changed by the "A/V Media" decoder. That is; add a "Populate variables"-node before decoding and set <your_variable> = %i_a_channels%. Then use <your_variable> to check for total number of channels. Hope this help...
