Re: Renaming Files

That's neat, vijm1972 :-) However, your workflow seem a bit over complicated. Have you tried setting you folder destination to f.ex: D:\FFAStarns_Test\Outbox\MP4-%MM%%YY% . Please look at the variables on how you can dynamically create new date/time-based names. And also set suffix to: _4.5Mbps _2.5...

Re: Renaming Files

With the current version it is not possible to feed ONE "Folder"-delivery node with different variables. This will be possible in 0.7.0 which i hope will be ready early next year. For now you must set up 5 equal folder-destinations and add different suffix to each node.

Re: 1080i to 480i down convert

Ok, what have you tried so far? Have you tried creating a custom preset in the "Custom FFmpeg"-encoder? If not, do you have a small sample file with the in the correct format så I can analyze? If so, send it to post@ffastrans.com so I can take a look. There are many ways of creating a "straight" mpe...

Hi Chris, I'm glad to read you're enoying FFAStrans! :-)

Tell me, are you aiming for XDCAM MPEG-IMX flavor or is it just "straight" mpeg2?

Re: How to keep ascpect ratio 16:9

Try this:

Insert a "Channel Mapper"-filter in you chain and replace the "MP4"-encoder with this "Custom FFmpeg"-encoder:

So now your workflow should look something like this:

Re: How to keep ascpect ratio 16:9

Hi mkobzar, In order to help I need to know what your "Resize" and "MP4" settings are. Currently there are no way of setting aspect in the "MP4" encoder but it tries to be intelligent about it. If the original is 16:9, it should set the 16:9 flag. On the other hand, the "MP4"-encoder need a bit of r...

Re: 0.6 Delivers original file instead of processed file

I can't find anything in you workflow that should cause the issue. So I think you need to turn on logging: Open the properties of the workflow, enter the "Special"-tab and enable "Log to files". Now, every job creates a new <GUID>.txt file with all kinds of information. It can be difficult to find t...

Hi Hector and thank you for using FFAStrans :-)

If you could you please export the relevant workflow(s) and mail it to post@ffastrans.com, and I will investigate.

Re: Recursive Delivery for Folder creation

You have a "Media Distributor" processor node doing nothing in your workflow. Combined with "Max active jobs" actually reveals a shortcoming in FFAStrans I was not aware of and I will look into that. Anyway, you probably got the "zombie"-node hidden to the left in the editor. Please press Ctrl+R in ...
