Re: sony xavcs 240fps transcode

I'm sorry but I have mislead you. Correct settings should be: ... # m_clip = AssumeFPS(m_clip, 59.94 ) # The following MUST be the last line of your script Return m_clip Anyway, the output file should be 4 times as long as the original with this setting. If it cuts before then there must be an error...

Re: Multiple, simultaneous workflows: low CPU usage and resulting in .avs files

First, add a "Channel mapper" prior to your encoder. Then set video codec to " mpeg2video " and audio codec to " pcm_s16le ". If you want aac instead of pcm then you must add " -strict -2 " to you command line, otherwise aac wont work at all. Other than that, please read this: http://www.ffastrans.c...

Re: Aborting Jobs Issue

Hi,

I have seen this happening and I'm working on it. In the mean time please go to the FFAStrans\Processors\.cache\monitor\jobs folder and delete all the files but make sure no real jobs are running.

Re: FPS Conversion

It would be very helpful to know if the footage plays correctly and that it's just showing "None" in the field property, or if the footage play back progressive. I have tried to create 29.97 and 25 fps interlaced .mov files in XDCAMHD using the exact same settings: FCP7 show the 29.97 with upper fie...

Re: sony xavcs 240fps transcode

Hi,

Try replacing the "FPS Conversion"-filter with a "Custom AviSynth-script"-filter. Create a new preset with this content:
...
#
m_clip = AssumeFPS(m_clip, 50)
# The following MUST be the last line of your script
Return m_clip

Re: Command Special

Ok, but then you're basically doing it wrong. If you submit a file with a space in it, your command ought to fail. Can you please try that and let me know how it works out. And if/when it fails, replace your command with the one below: %comspec% /c "C:\FFAStrans_61\Processors\FFMpeg\ffprobe.exe -sho...

Re: Multi Cadence Issue

I haven't looked so much into this so for me it's more of a question for Google, if you know what I mean ;-) As this question is not particular for FFAStrans, I would appreciate if you do what I would have to do; use Google, and came up with a working example of what you want to accomplish using Avi...

Re: FPS Conversion

Allthough I try to make the encoders as compatible as possible, FFAStrans is usually limited to what FFmpeg has to offer. However, there might be some flags that I'm missing when it comes to f.ex. interlacing. I'm learning new things about ffmpeg all the time. Do you have any particular problem with...
