Re: Check for updated files

Hi DsmithTopGun, "Check growing files" does not work that way: Once the monitored file is deemed finished with growing, the file record will be created and FFAStrans does not pick up that file again unless the record is deleted. So no changes to the file will make any difference. Let me ask you, is ...

Re: Web Monitor

Hi gerst, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

Is the web-monitor not working at all? Does the discovery page work? Have you enabled the web REST service as application or are you running as service?

Re: Overwritten file is not seen by Monitor Folder

Hi Ibruins, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-) Benjamin gave you some good clues and I would like to expand upon them a bit. Like Benjamin wrote, use the "Command executor" node to delete the monitor record. You can set a lower loop if you want, like 15-30 seconds. FFAStrans...

Re: BMX transwrap?

Hi again, Benjamin :-) The BMX mxf-library is an alternative to ffmpegs inbuilt. It can sometimes produce more compatible files but introduces a rewrapping of the whole file. It's not a problem with small files and/or quick work drives but very large files might add a minute or two of processing. -s...

Re: FTP Permissions

Hi DsmithTopGun,

Setting file permissions on delivery is not natively a feature of FFAStrans.

Re: AntiVirus Detection

Hi Harald,

Sorry for the late reply but I've been quite busy lately. The question is sort of stupid in the sense that I cannot control if you reverse-engineer or not so you do whatever you want to in that regard ;-)

Re: Help for a avisynth script

Hi Benjamin, Are you able to create a working AviSynth script without FFAStrans? If not, please do that first. When you have, please submit the workflow you have tried to create using your script. Working with AviSynth in FFAStrans demands basic knowledge in using AviSynth without FFAStrans: http://...

Re: AntiVirus Detection

Hi Harald, thanks for wanting to use FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-) False positives is a huge problem. I've sent several files to several AV-companies but it really does not seem to help that much. So you just need to do what you think is best, whether it's adding an exception for FFAStrans...

Re: FTP and dynamic subfolders

Hi asmit1, thank you for using FFAStans and welcome to the forum! :-) Yes, recursive folders in FTP was added in 0.9.0. So all you need to do is check "Recurse" in the FTP monitor. Use the %s_original_path~n% variable to get the dynamic folder: \\evs-smb-01\PROD-SIEN\TaskMedia\Transcode_OUT\TESTOMRO...
