Re: FTP Download localize issue

Hi Benjamin, thanks for reporting!

FFAStrans use the windows api for ftp operations and behind the scenes it will download to a temporary folder before ending up as a localized FFAStrans file. I will look the options to avoid this behavour from the OS.

Re: DPX Sequences and vimeo upload

The sequence monitor was enabled by mistake on this release. It is not finished so that's probably the reason you see the error. But thanks for report anyway. I will take a look at it. Now that the monitor is out you should look at it as early beta.

Re: Basic OS integration issues

Yes I have tried the solutions. They both render the double-click functionality unusable. So I have to come up with a workaround. I have looked at this tonight and it's better but not perfect. I have tried to recreate the issue by creating a similar workflow and submit a txt-filer but there is no bl...

Re: Basic OS integration issues

Hi Harry :-) No need to be shy, just bring on whatever issues you have. I'm not sure I'm able to fix everything but I will at least try. 1) I know about this issue. The problem is somewhat out of my control and I have to make some ad-hoc code to try and fix it. It turns out the registering of dublec...

Re: Need a precision about rest service

If you run as service, the workflow manager will function as normal. It's just a matter of what system startet the engine, the OS or the workflow manager.

Re: speed issue with new 0.9.4 FFAStrans version

Ok, so the problem with AviSynth is that it does not have any metadata that says anything about color characteristics. So when encoding one need to take a guess. That guess can be wrong and this is probably what happens in your case. You can use the "Color conversion" filter to try and alter the col...

Re: New Webinterface available

Benjamin,

FFAStrans is undergoing a major revision regarding the log functionality and the data model in general. So until this is finished there wont be much new features like the one you requested.

Re: Need a precision about rest service

If you are going to run the rest API, you can run it as application, that is from the FFAStrans workflow manager, or as a service, detached from the workflow manager. Either way, if you want to use the web interface from Harry you MUST run it one way or another.

Re: speed issue with new 0.9.4 FFAStrans version

That's great Ghtais although I have found an anomaly when dealing with AviSynth scripts and some media properties which are not properly reported. This leads to wrong video processing which can cause a slowdown under certain circumstances. I'm trying to resolve it and hopefully it will be a part of ...
