Re: Issue with watermark and videolayer

Yes, the "A/V Media" decoder always outputs 32 channels of audio regardless of the channel count in the original file. This will be addessed in the next major version.

Re: Maybe a bug but not sure...

I have seen this happening, particularly on older os like Win7/server2008. They seem more prone to stop working correctly. Normally it is in farming environments and it seem to be a winnt.dll issue. I suspect is has to do with executable files running directly from a network share. I'm addressing th...

Re: Logs from FFAStrans

Hi, mgm21m, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

Currently FFAStrans has no inbuilt mechanism to export logs to other formats. If you want the finished files log as it is, you can find it here:<your_ffastans_dir>\Processors\.cache\monitor\log.txt.

Re: Combining Xdcam . MXF files into One

Hi carmos1975, thank you for using FFAStans and welcome to the forum! :-) Can you please supply a screenshot that shows the contents of one of your AA-folders? I just need to see structure inside to see if it differs from what FFAStrans expect to find. Regaring chaining to one file; FFAStrans does n...

Re: file processing order

Hi dmbf22, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! FFAStrans has no concept of date-stamps in regards to what file should be processed first. So it will pick whatever file(s) it finds first and start rocessing it IF it's readable. Normally the files will be processed in alphabetical ...

Re: Remove from location?

Hi Benjamin,

I'm sorry but this is an error in the docs and it will be corrected. All options for removing monitored files has been removed because of safety reasons. You must remove it manually, use the "Command executor" or remove it by some other means.

Re: Insert Media (Y42B Error)

Hi Graham,

The best thing to do would be to export your workflow as xml and post it. It's easier to see what's actually going on than just a screen-grab. Anyway, what is your "Uncompressed" video settings?

Re: Any way to change reading blocksize of input file?

Hi Dave,

FFAStrans has no specific settings on block reading size but I will take a look at the ffmpeg input file options and how they can be utilized. Thanks for notifying :-)

Re: SMPTE Timecode trim/segment

Hi philthewiz, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-) This is a good request and it's already on my list of new features to be added for all the encoders. Until then, you can use Harrys approach but it's restricted to the custom ffmpeg node. OR, you can create a custom avisynth ...
