Re: Job Priority Not being considered in v1.0.2.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you can't do what you want...
Maybe you can find a workaround or another method to submit your "old" files.

Re: Job Priority Not being considered in v1.0.2.

Hello Gdpodesta, Well I did a test this morning, the test must be done with watch folder cause submitted jobs are always the higher priority : - FFastrans 1.0.2 - 2 Workflows : 1 with high priority, sleep timer set to 10 / 1 with very low priority and same sleep timer (10) --> the 2 workflows will s...

Re: Job Priority Not being considered in v1.0.2.

Hello gdpodesta,

Well, I must try tomorrow and I will come back to you.
But if you max active job is 9, it is normal the priority isn't be useful cause all files can be processed at the same time. I think the priority is active only for the queue jobs but I must check what I write :)

Re: FFAStrans hardware configuration

Hi Ghtais, I'm not sure it's a good idea because : 1-> Just some users can use gpu encoder because it is only available on specific Nvidia Cards. 2-> If you have the specific nvidia card, you just need to use h264_nvenc instead of libx264 inside custom ffmpeg and that's all. Not sure we need to crea...

Re: FFAStrans hardware configuration

Hello guys,

It is true Veks, I already tried to use decode and encode with gpu (h264_cuvid and h264_nvenc) and it is quite good. Unfortunately for me, we don't need to decode h264 or 265 here, so I didn't dig far...
For now, I trust CPU and wait some gpu evolutions.

Re: New Job Priority

Ok sorry too :)
SO you're right. Duplicate the part of the workflow you want and change its properties to low or very low. Try with 1 file and if the behavior is ok, start the rest .

Re: New Job Priority

Hey,
No need to duplicate, just change properties(but all monitor nodes will have very low priority inside the same workflow).
You could also use the webinterface and create a scheduled start to process your files during night for example.
